The White House Inn is a 21 room Greek Revival home built circa 1835. The Inn is decorated with antiques, living relics of a refined era. There is an in-ground Jacuzzi pool, located in the Inn’s private backyard. All this, located one block from Main Street, two blocks from the Otesaga Resort Hotel, as well as Otsego Lake and the National Baseball Hall of Fame; four blocks from Clark Sports Center and close to other attractions.
The Inn has a number of rooms within the main building and two more in the Carriage House, which is located adjacent to the Inn and is handicap accessible. Each guest room provides privacy from the other areas of the house, with private restrooms, air conditioning, TVs, telephones and free Wi-Fi. The Gathering Room, where a full gourmet breakfast is served each morning, is located in the back of The White House Inn and is for all guests to use.
Check-in: Check-in begins at 3:00 pm. If you arrive before 3:00 pm and your room is ready, we are more than happy to show you your room. If it isn’t, you are welcome to park your car and get a head start on exploring Cooperstown. If you plan on arriving after 9:00 pm, please call ahead and let us know so we can make arrangements for you.
Check-Out: Check-out is firmly 11:00 am.
Minimum Night Stay Policy: During the peak and fall seasons, a 2 night minimum stay is required. Call the Inn directly at 607-547-5054 for availability of one night stays during these seasons.
Deposit Policy : All Reservations Require Credit Card Deposit of 50% of the total (room + tax), due at the time of booking.
Cancellation Policy: If your plans should change, deposits are returned less a $25.00 service fee on cancellations received 14 days or more in advance of scheduled arrival. If cancellation is received on shorter notice, and we are unable to re-rent your accommodations, you will be responsible for the entire amount due.
